I want to buy. A couple questions.

1) Any chance my park save will survive through each alpha/beta/release stage?

2) How big are the map sizes? They sort of look a little small in some videos i've seen. How do they compare to RTC3? I'm hoping to make an epic sized park with rides, scenery, buildings ect. That takes a lot of room. At least have a mod available for higher end PCs like Cities Skylines did?

Hi, I'll try to answer as best as I can.

1) The Park save is likely to survive through each alpha. Of course, Fronteir can't guarantee anything as some bugs may come up in future updates, and Servers may crash, and autosaves may be deleted.

2) The Park size doesn't seem to have constrained anyone as of yet. To me, it seems about the same size as RCT3, where it is very difficult to take up the whole map. Also, compared to RCTW, the map size is much better.

At the moment, with only two themes and one/two coaster types, the map doesn't need to be as big as it is, but Fronteir have given us a big map, so it looks promising.

About the City Skylines Mod, I don't think it will be necessary for PC as the map is so big, and you can fit everything in. Also, as PC isn't on steam it may be difficult to implement. Don't go into PC expecting the map to be as big as City Skylines. Because you start building the park at the entrance, and build back, I don't think many people will reach the limits, so any mod might not even be needed.

*I know I have spelt Fronteir wrong, but it autocorrects it! Urghh

Thank you so much. I sort of want to start building a park out slowly even with the lack of content. I like to really take my time, so starting now would be wise probably :)

As for the map size, I'm still a little concerned, but oh well.

Just bought the game. Maps are pretty small, yikes. Hopefully they expand this in the future, or at least give the modders a chance to make it bigger for those who want. I

as for map size it isnt defintive ..but if you zoom way out you can see a bigger "box" where the terrain kind of changes. its at least 4 times the size of the current building area so I think it's likely to be at least that larger size in the end

4x would realistically be very nice
