Ok my system specs are as follows
amd a6-5400k apu with raedon graphics 3.60 GHz
8 GB Ram
64 bit operating system x64 based processor

AMD raedon HD 7540D graphics card.

lets say price is no object (within reason,I am not gonna buy a Cray )

Now what VR unit is best for ED and possibly Star Citizen
And how do I have to juice this PC up to run it smoothly.

If ED only it's Rift right now.

As for PC upgrades I'd wait for the next generation GPUs due soon. They will likely arrive before your VR headset, assuming you order today.

Nvidia 970 is the bare minimum.

The other stuff is good though (cpu,ram,ect)
