I'm getting really tired of passengers that cancel their mission, but then I still end up delivering them to the destination because I have other passengers going to the same place.
If a passenger decides to cancel because I saved their life but took a few shots to the hull, that's fine. They can do whatever they want. But I'll space them before I get to the destination. This also applies to criminals. If I'm about to get scanned and just don't want to bother with the criminal, I should be able to jettison his/her cabin into space. Then buy a new cabin when I get to dock. The ships are modular and can be totally reworked in a matter of seconds, there's no way removing a cabin can be more complicated than pushing a button.
