Then I 'git gud'.

So, I know exactly what you go through. Can't say I ever reacted the same but emotions were the same.

Thing is, I never was anti-pro and never a nerf bot.
I listened and watched vids and learnt.
I watched my own vids to see where I went wrong and what I did right.
I found out who was good and tried to learn something. I still do.
I git gud.

I am nobody to you, I know that but you got to listen.

A Cmdr made a post the other day. He was crying cos AI too hard but he was asking for help and he got it.
Next day he posts how he enjoy it so much and how easy the AI is. All he had to do was press 2 buttons at the right time and he wins.
See, it's easy if you ask how.

We all learn and get experience from our failures. I have at least. The thing is that learning in a Cobra is vastly less costly than learning in a 'Conda.
Robigo runs made to many 'conda and Cutter pilots with less than adequate skills. Therefore a lot of the whining here.
I do not consider my self "gud" pilot, just adequate, I get by by, but I am a good tactician knowing when to cut losses and disengage, so I seldom lose anything. I do not min- max my trading vessels, they will handle a hard scrap even.
The point of this is: Do what you know you are capable of pulling off, beyond that take it very, very easy to avoid the re buy screen.
The problem right now is that everyone and everybody wants the latest and greatest NOW !!!!! Chill there it is not important. I have played for 2 years (3000 hours) and have not got 1 billion. Am I worried ? no I am not. When I look back I have had 3000 hours of mostly great fun and memorable moments in a game. That is what matters.
I will probably be playing in 10 years if i live that long [big grin]

I don't think that's fair. I've been a slightly above average gamer since I started a long time ago. Some games I'm better at than others but I'm well past my prime.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion but to make a case, you have to make a valid point and more importantly, suggest how it could be better.
This game is a work in progress and has been since inception.
Like, I've had ideas that've been shot down pretty quickly but reasons were given why so I kinda got the reason why.
However, I still throw stuff out there for consumption and see how it goes and maybe something good comes from it or denied.

It's not about moulding the game to how I want everyone else to play it but about what could be good for the game as a whole.
Win some lose some.
However, negative commentary without any valid reason beyond just attacking the game will be generally frowned upon by this community.
You'd be surprised how many people actually care a lot about this game, even if we argue and bicker like a primary school.

Those of us who have been around a good while see the improvements.

Oh and yeah, I'm currently paying on a GT530 in Open with Horizons. Nvidea says "non-optimal"...miracles huh?
Doesn't mean I have to kill everything in sight though.

More constructive posts on your part will help though because being negative is easy, being positive is a lot harder and believe it or not, FD do like ideas.
