I was away for a while...can someone answer me some questions?

Went away a while ago, waiting for some updates.
So that i read about Drones n stuff, and it sounds awesome.
Finally a way for us poor miners to scoop chunks more easily, and as far as i have read, finally a way to scan those rocks.

But...there are a few things that i would be interested in, that i may have missed.

Any news on Bounty? Will it finally scale with the ship/cargo that was destroyed? Or is it still a fixed value?
Is the payout exploit still there? Basically where you could gather a lot of bounty on your ship, switch to a Sidewinder and let a friend destroy you - pirate has a clean ship and the friend has some extra cash. Or is it finally based on the pirats ship value?

What about weapons? When i left the Gatling was the one and only PvE weapon, because Railgun and Cannon Ammo was just too expensive and the amount you could carry was not enough at all.
Is it now viable to bring a Cannon or Railgun, or even Missiles to a PvE fight?

Have traders returned from the Void of Solo or Private play? When i left, there were a lot of them leaving for the same reasons - pirate derpiness for example.

So yeah, if someone can answer me these, i would be happy :)
Would be interesting to know whats going on, if it is worth the time to come back now, or if i should wait until those things are finally balanced/fixed.
 
In short most of your issues have been addressed in 1.2, will be addressed in 1.3, or are being looked into for the future. People still trade in open despite what some might say. The game's alright, if possible to burn out on, but generally looking set to get better as time goes on. Have a look at what the beta testers say when the 1.3 beta starts, ignore the ones that read like they're shouting at their keyboard, and try judge for yourself how everything might impact your personal playstyle. I'm cautiously optimistic, you might say.

hmmm interesting, can you tell me how exactly it was adressed?
For bounty all i could see was, that the strong signal source bounty was increased.

NPC bounties currently are based on ship type and skill level of the pirate (they have the same ranks we do like mostly harmless, competent, elite, etc.). You can also use a kill warrant scanner to discover bounties on a target from other systems than the one you are currently in. That's not required, every ship has a built in scanner but it only shows bounties for current system.

Regarding PVE weapons, I've always just used lasers. I like to go to resource extraction sites, and if Anacondas, Pythons, Dropships, or Clippers are spawning, I don't want to have to leave to re-arm.

Can't really comment on your other questions, I just play solo because I have to afk a lot sometimes.

Thats why i asked about player-bounty, since that was derped a lot.

PVE weapons...there it would be interesting to know if the Ammo Capacity or Cost was changed, the wiki hasnt updated there.

Sorry, you just said bounty, not player bounties specifically.

sorry then, thought it was clear when i mentioned the scaling and the bounty-exploit^^
I basically meant for example, if it scales when a pirate destroys a fully loaded type 9, or if it just gives out a fixed bounty value without considering the rebuy and cargo it had.

And the exploit should be self explanatory...never seen an NPC using an exploit :p
