PvP I was lead to believe PC players are more ruthless than on Xbox..

.. But from what I've seen in Sothis and Ceos, y'know, a sorta hotbed for newbs to make fed rank / get creds / rare mission mats, it's the most peaceful of settings. Players everywhere, Condas and Pythons, but no hostile interaction. Not even a bad word over comms!

I'm sure it's different in, say, the CGs or Shinrez (judging from the threads here) but I have to say I'm disappointed in you all.

From PC/Mac vets, how ruthless is this platform?

PC platform surely it is most ruthless of all, as not only its longest around, but also largest player base of all. So naturally there is enough cmdrs who delivers emergent content around in open. If you know where to find our "kind", you will find attention you seek for.

Would you know it if you saw it? All seems blissfully peaceful until that interdiction starts and you realize there is a real person on the other end who knows what they are doing.

You can judge how hostile a platform is by the level of salt produced by the victims.

Based on that, I would say PC tops most things.

Oh definitely. I was almost Triple Elite on Xbox and a full time PvPer.
I'm just going with what I've seen lately. So far, it seems you PC guys are, like, super chill.
