I was set up!

So I buy some Imperial Slaves and as soon as I exit the station I am scanned and fined 800,000 credits for illicit cargo. They are sold there, what is up with the fine? That fine was nearly as big as the rebuy cost of the T7 I am piloting. Well I am not paying it. What a racket.

That shouldn't happen, the markets shouldn't be selling illicit goods and station security is always handled by the faction controlling the station, so even if it was illicit in the system but not at the station then you should be OK in the stations instance. Bug report it.

How do you suppose stations afford all the fancy upgrades in the first place ;).
.
No seriously though, I have seen stations in federal space that have a supply of both imperial slaves and ordianry slaves such as Engle Hub in Exbeur and Pepper station at Pepper just recently while those commodities are prohibited there.

Good old fashioned extortion. I like it! Hey, if I owned me own station I'd do the same thing! ARRRRRRRRRR!

well it is the largest profit I ever had off of slaves, so it seems I will rack up a ton of fines tonight. Unit profit 3141...and no, I wont tell you where it is.

And that attitude is why I consider myself a pirate in this game after all. Just to annoy the traders and lower their cr/hr by interdictions and blockades. Ha!

I still think this is a "bug" from PowerPlay, where some commodities (slaves, narcotics, etc.) become available (PowerPlay Bonus) but not legal (minor faction jurisdiction). They either should become available on black market or become legal as long as available on exchange.
