I went to Anderson escape....

Noted Mr Alpha, and I thank you sir, as I was having an issue finding other places that sold Silver...even for a near single trip 200K profit run, flying to Anderson Escape is not ideal...

CM Draco is the star system I believe..

You are most welcome sir, a pleasure to be of service. And thank you for the heads up on the system. I'm in a Viper at the moment so I'll have to visit when I decide to trade it in on a Cobra again.

there is something in this discussion that i don't get it...

It is a fairly pointless thread to be honest, I just felt it was mildly funny to start it as so far i think this is the emptiest system we have that has a station in it and it's a LONG way out from it's star.

It's required visiting for any space tourist even though there really isn't any point in going other than to say you have been.

You could visit and post us a photo of what tasteless item you got from the gift shop along with your tourist snap of the station of course.....

I thought that technically its not too far from it's star, it's just the star you jump to is the white dwarf CM Draco B...

The star the planet that Anderson Escape is located at orbits CM Draco A which is somewhat distant from its parent CM Draco B :D

Well that's YOU off my xmas present list.

This is correct. Presumably, the White Dwarf is the largest mass in the system and therefore the Hyperspace jump in point, whilst Andersons Escape Orbits Cathkin (which orbits CM Draco A) because that's where the minerals are (rather than CM Draco B1, the other planet in the system). Also, Andersons Escape probably makes a pretty good pirate base. You have plenty of time to detect incoming ships and either interdict them or flee.

Should be easier to get too once micro jumps are implemented. I did like the writing by the docking port though

Made my first million trading/bickering with the good people in and around Anderson Escape. Thus, I have only positive memories from the CM Draco system..

..except that it should be CM Draconis and the A star should infact be an eclipsing binary. I mean really, FD!

I took a BB mission to bring a ton of Palladium to Chango Dock. Looked at the Galaxy Map, saw that Palladium could be had at Anderson Escape and that it was only one jump away. Came out of SC, 200,000 LS, ***

I managed to get my old type 6 up to 690c on the trip. May have gotten higher but I got stopped three times.

I looked up at my screen after reading your post and saw my speed decreasing 690c, 689c, 688c... I'd agree 690 seems about right for a type 6

Do you think the station is in an orbit, or is this our first exostation? do you think the people living on it mind slowly dissappearing into the void?

I'm docked at Anderson Escape currently. A bit of a slog getting there. I do hope there's at least some good gold running to be had in the vicinity before I jump away and never come back.

It is in an orbit around a planet called Chatkin something or other which orbits the star CM Draco A, so no more disappearing into the void than we get from our ever expanding universe.
