I wish the penalties for failed or time-out of missions were less

Right now, several of the missions in Odyssey penalize you with a 100k cr fine for failing, abandon, or timing-out, and it's okay in essence, but the fine is very steep since many of those missions only pay less than 100k. Which now has led me to abandon the Odyssey missions and going to Horizons missions to make up for the missions I lost while being away from the keyboard. The risk/reward is a bit wonky. Essentially, now the best play is to only take one mission at a time, to limit the risk. Also, since many salvage missions are still placing satellites or crashed ships badly so you can't reach the panel you need to open for the mission, you're guaranteed to lose, and lose credits.

So how about either removing them entirely or decrease them drastically, to make the risk/reward less painful, and please, please, please, do something about the wonky salvage missions you can't complete for misplaced targets.

The 100k Cr fine is to cover the cost of the lost power regulator on the mission giver's part. You still keep the regulator if you abandon/fail/time-out the mission and thus can be sold (not recommended) or kept for upgrades.
