I wonder if, now that we have an official symbol for independents (used in conflict zone declarations for example), players will receive that symbol as an addition to the free Powers decals?

What do you think? Should FDev give independents the ability to put that symbol (I quite like it actually) on their ships as decals?
Free or paid? The others got free decals...

Indi's are their own group/factions surely too many for FD to give each one their own symbol but I get where your coming from.

No, no. I mean FDev introduced us to an "Independent" symbol separate and apart from the Powers ones. If you are in, say, a independent PMF, then you can see the symbol in your STATUS/SYSTEM FACTION panel in your ship. Also, if you fight for or against an Independent faction you will see it if you pause to look. FDev has bestowed upon us this one symbol to encompass any non-power play "independent" player groups. It looks like a bird taking flight with three stripes for a wing, and an arc in the background. That is the symbol I mean.

I would like to be able to put this on my ships - flying true, if possible.

I like the idea but do we get the super power symbols or just the powerplay-symbols (very similar) from the store?
