I would pay extra for this simple addition

A choice of preset custom HUD colours to be added in the options screen.
If people are prepared to pay for ship skins they never really get to see, I would pay for HUD custom colours I would be able to see all the time.
Orange is hurting my eyes.

In game Hud color support is coming, the devs witnessing people changing their hud colors were fascinated by this and have already included the first step towards that support.

They've already reworked the cockpit lighting to work with custom HUD colours. I'm fairly sure HUD customisation is on the way.
