Horizons I Would Think Micro Jumps Would be Added by Now

I will say that I've largely stopped avoiding long supercruise trips ever since I realized that I get most of my good USS finnds that way.

No micro jumps then Hutton wouldn't be special. Plan your trading better. Its not the games fault you are flying that far when you don't have to.

Its not a big deal. The Hutton orbital CG was pretty fun. No micro jumps needed. There are not much the systems like Alpha Centauri.

Hubble Orbital has never made any sense to me. Why on earth jump to the heaviest mass in the system, then set up a base 0.22LY away? Surely you'd have a trading station nearer the main mass star, then truck out to whatever is further out. It really does beggar belief, that and similar systems with outposts in excess of 500,000LS away from your arrival point. :)

There is a station about 5000 ls away fr the main star. You don't have to go to Hutton orbital. I see it as a place in the middle of nowhere. Imagine a place on earth that is 150 miles away from the nearest city. That is Hutton.

Or better still being able to jump straight to a planet rather than have to jump to a sun in that system first.
Thats not how FSD works at all.
They lock on to a massive heat source or a nav beacon.

Maybe its possible , but I dont think so.
I know you can jump into dark space but that might be done via supercruise or the older engine models.

SC is an important part of the gameplay, I'm afraid.
To not medle with its functionality, micro-jumps would have to be enabled for, let's say 100-200kls+ travels. Considering the number of systems that are actually effectively that large - I know of a dozen tops, maybe there are couple of dozens in the bubble, but still... - it's a thing you would use literally once a month, if ever.

However I might agree that it would be a cute QoL addition, I don't think it's important enough to be anywhere on the first 20 pages of Frontier's "To-consider list", let alone "To-do lists".

They do needing adding I think, but it should only allow jumping between stars. Not planets.

I think they need to be very careful with adding micro jumps and personally don't think they should. I see an analogy with wows dungeon finder tool which seemed great at first but in the long term ruined the feeling of being in an expansive world and took away the feeling of going on a journey/ adventure.

Just point and click to set off, go have lunch or whatever, come back and you're there. When finished, promise yourself to never go back and curse every space sheep who made that dump popular in the first place.

Haha! That is essentially what I did. Best solution for now.
