Personally I can't really get stoked enough to care.

As for making the news.
It's not hard if you would post about your purchases on your own personal 'news' site.

Maybe cmdrs should do the same regarding there in game buys.

There has been a lot of opensource stuff getting bought up (by big previous rivals) over recent years. Are we maybe seeing a push to rid the software world of free software? I guess we will find out.
