Well today I was feeling good, I was going kick some ass and make some credits. I came into Guest Installation at the rear end of the station and I looked at the orbiting rings and panels and thought to myself "Challenge Accepted!" And I boosted off. Quickly maneuvering my sluggish Asp in between and around the the station, for once I actually enjoyed the flight capabilities of the asp. It was alittle exhilarating to be honest, but then I took a quick corner through the inner components and I saw about 100m in front of my a large wall. I decreased speed and began to route my way away, but the Asp was like a heavy rock sliding on ice. It was the slowest inevitable collision I've ever experienced, at one point I thought to myself "I'm going so slow right now, there's no way this will destroy my ship". And then *clink* the quietest collision I've ever heard, but sure enough my light go out, ship hull is reduced to 0 and I'm force to eject into the cold humiliating space around the station... I need to get rid of this damn Asp, I'd be surprised if this ship could complete a full circle without slamming into the edge of the universe..

The supply of Lavian Brandy has seemed to be exhausted today, or perhaps some for reputable traders are getting the good and not me. Either way the bay loaders are no help, they just keep telling me they should have another shipment in 10 minutes. I've become a little frustrated because they only seem to be stocking 1 unit every time they restock, unlike Diso Ma Corn which seems to always be well stocked for traders to be on their way. No matter what bumps I come across today I've still made a nice lump of credits to take home.

I've received a call to arms from Federal Warrant Officer Hek who brings to my attention that there is a conflict that has arisen in Ross 780. I believe that is the same conflict zone I passed through on my way along my trade route, I was light seconds away from entering it, but stopped myself because my Lakon 6 was not suited for such an incident. I will finish my current route, receive my credits, arm my Asp and assist my Federal allies in reclaiming peace in Ross 780.

Im furious, so enraged I feel like ripping my throttle from its stand and throwing it out of my cargo bay during supercruise.. Once again, through pure hot-headedness I failed to correct my speedy exit and ended up hitting the side of the docking exit bay. It's like I'm in f#!$ing basic flight school all over again.. 1,000,000 Credits down the drain, oh.. and did I mention I had almost 600k worth of commodities in my cargo hold? Yeah... I honestly don't even feel like working that back up today.

I was about to finish my third run of the day, on my way to Guest Installation to purchase my units of Uszaian Tree Grub when I was engaged into an interdiction. I quickly switched out of my programs and back into my cockpit. This was a very difficult interdiction, I was thinking to myself "my nose is right in the damn center, why wont I press through this?" It was because this was not some pirate or mugger, this was a member of Pilot's Federation a
Commander Cevap (Cevap; A type of sausage from the Balkan States) who was piloting a Viper. A bright blinking warning came over my cockpit view "FSD Malfunction", Never before have I seen this! And it could not be worse timing.. We were both thrown into the depths of space and Cmdr Cevap's first message was "Hi" which I quickly boosted away before messaging "Hello?". Cevap wasted no time informing this was a "Stick up" (a broad term that meant I needed to either get out while I still could or submit to his requests).

I continued to push my Asp as fast as possible away from the commander, but I saw he was gaining on me.. He requested a mere 5 tons of cargo, I was still contemplating at this point as my FSD cooled down. But this commander wasted no time. He said "It's cheaper than a damaged hull".
The fact his threat included a damaged hull and not my entire ship being destroyed either meant this commander was not confident he could destroy me in time for me to safely reach the station, or he is a man or reason and slight generosity..

Up to this point about 20 seconds had past, shortly after he began to assault me with thermal hardpoints; Pulse lasers from the look and sound of it. It didn't do much, but it was not worth the cost of repairing my hull or worse. I released 5 units of Lavian Brandy and informed him those are rare goods. This was my attempt at making his reward seem grand, but I'm sure he knew damn well what to do with those goods. He picked the perfect spot to interdict traders who were carrying high valued rares. After my departure he told suggested I should get myself a shield generator and to have myself a nice day, which I replied with "You too, But I'll remember your name Cmdr Cevap. Ill find you another day" and to take care.

- Till we meet again Commander Cevap, good luck next time we meet. I promise I will be better suited.

Previously I have engaged a wanted vessel in front of a station without anything bad happening. The station understood that I was a friend, and it was a criminal I was assaulting. Guest Installation from the Uszaa anarchy system did not feel the same way. A wanted member of the Empire was 1Km from the station. I scanned him and it was worth 31,000 credits. I began to engage him and even with a B5 shield generator and 2 pips to shields I was destroyed in seconds by the station.. I didn't even have a chance to turn around.. I will no longer be visiting Guest Installation for my trade runs. I don't know if they are Imperial sympathizers or if they are assisting such criminals, but bounty hunter such as myself is not wanted there.

And of course, minutes later. Upon a approach to another station some member of the pilots federation boosts full speed directly at my ship and destroys us both.. Today has not been my day, I think I need a break..

Along my usual trade route leaving George Lucas station I noticed a Python bolt out of the station at faster than usual speeds. I didn't even care to check my radar, I new this commander had to be a member of the Pilots Federation. I targeted him and received his information purely for curiosity, Cmdr Menvafan (Menvafan; Swedish Translation: whatthehell) . I asked him a few questions about the Python because I'm working my way up to getting one myself. From there we both shared a very informative and entertaining conversation We then said our goodbyes as we jumped into super cruise to continue on in our separate ways.

Once I reached the Uszaa system I didn't hesitate to press forward to the next station along my trade route; Guest Installation. I couldn't help but notice a Pilot Federation member slowly nudging his way behind my ship, so I quickly performed some evasive maneuvers to see if he would follow and shortly after he disengaged. I was a little worried so I took a second access my surroundings before continuing, and I am very glad I did. The pilot who was approaching my back end was Commander Shortcrust who sat at the cockpit of an Anaconda. I had a feeling this guy was up to something. And sure enough, what happened next? The Anaconda moved onto his next victim, he was closing in fast to another commander's tail. And of course it was none other than Cmdr Menvafan, the good chap who I chatted with earlier. I could see they were in a close fight to interdict and evade out of hyperspace, I knew I didn't have much time so I let Cmdr Menvafan know that I see the Anaconda on his six and was going to follow into his wake to help fight.

A second later all comms' went cold.. All that remained was the wake of their struggle. I knew I had to help Cmdr Menvafan, so I took my Asp and dropped into the battle of two beasts. I quickly gained my composure and set my power to shields. I stabilized my entry to find them both at a devastating stalemate, I kept my distance to ensure my safety and let loose every bit of fire power I had to offer. It definitely made a difference and the Pirate Shortcrust knew he was in over his head, he began to turn away leaving only his turreted hard points to mask his escape.

We didn't bother on chasing him down, I suspect that Cmdr Menvafan was simply looking to finish his trade routes and bring in his days profit same as me. We both shared our gratitude, and entrusted each other with our lives. We kept each other as contacts agreed to fight together day as friends, hopefully next time we will both be behind the cockpits of two powerful Pythons.

- Thank you Cmdr Menvafan for this incredible experience, I hope to share many more combat stories with you in the future.

I reached Sharon Market, one of the last stations along my trade route. The station was bustling with commander activity, quite possibly the busiest I've ever seen a station. Anyways.. I noticed while I was entering the docking bay that I was being watched by a Viper. The pilot's name was Cmdr Max Corwyn. I was reasonably suspicious after today's events. I attempted to interrogate him, trying to find out what his purpose was for lurking outside the station's docking bay. He assured me he is here as a bounty hunter, only scanning for the use of a KWS and nothing else. I loosened up a little, but wasn't going to drop my guard completely. I proclaimed my suspicion of him being a pirate and he reassured me he is here on my own behalf hunting criminals in the Uszaa and Orrere systems. And after that I really did trust the man, I let my guard down and had a good chat. I even offered some of my rare goods in donation for his efforts, which he respectfully declined due to that fact that he has no cargo space. I still felt as if I owed the man something, so I thanked him for his service and I wished him good hunting as I departed the station.

The lesson I've learned; While the Anarchy systems are a dangerous, unpredictable and unforgiving sector of space there are still those that repent the temptation of piracy and greed.

Just the other day I found the contact information of Cmdr Cevap; the individual who mugged me while I foolishly traveled without a shield generator or hardpoints. And I've challenged him to a duel, warning him that this time I will be armed and ready for a fight. And I have awoken today to find that he has responded and accepted my duel. So in preparation I've armed my Asp with my bounty hunter loadout and I've decided that this hunk of metal deserves a name. From this moment on it will be known as Iron Hide . I'm going to get some hours of practice in before I attempt to take this Asp on its first real battle.

I was a bittersweet battle, not worth many more words than that. It wasn't a fair duel and I chose to let him go with 1% hull and a broken canopy. I hope for us to fight again once we are both on level playing grounds, but till then I have to thank you Cmdr Cevap for allowing me to regain my pride.

I received a transmission from Cmdr Cevap with a less than worth congrats on our fight. He suggested that once he upgrades his ship we should have a rematch. Which I could not agree with more, next time will be a fight to death so I can add this pirate to my kill board.

I'll be returning to Liaedin and strike some terror back into those Imperial pansies. It's been along time since I took part in some fighting and after today's duel I can't help but feed my adrenaline needs..

Ongkuma Slave Rebellion

GalNet News - 07 Jan 3301

Slave Rebellion Breaks out in Ongkuma

Rumours are coming in from multiple sources that rebellion has broken out amongst slaves in Ongukuma.

This news has surprised commentators given the speed with which the Sorbago rebellion was crushed last year. Some commentators speculate that the rebel leaders are replying on intervention from the independent pilots, although many consider this to be a foolish hope after the widespread support the Senator received in the Sorbago campaign.

Indirect confirmation came from a comment in soical media from a lowly shipyard loader driver. who posted that the 'Cleopatra' and the 'Marlin', two of Senator Torval's Majestic Class Interdictors, were being provisioned to leave for the Ongkuma system.

Senator Torval is still on her holiday cruise on the 'Xanadu' so was unavailable for comment.

I've traveled to the nearest independent system from Ongkuma, It wasn't until I docked at Bradshaw Hub that I realized It was under Imperial control... I remember not to return to this station upon my next arrival, because I'm sure I will be having many trips back to this system during my endeavors in the Ongkuma system.

Also worth a notable remark is Commander Kane Vilorde who contacted me just before my departure to Ongkuma. To my surprise he was actually a level headed intelligent individual, but had a stubborn and bullheaded devotion to the Imperial way of life. He's an interesting fellow at the least, I will surely keep an eye on this man. I can foresee our goals conflicting in the near future, and I am confident it will be a memorable experience.

Waste of my damn time. The whole thing is over, I guess there wasn't enough support for this rebellion to last a single day.. That is a damn disgrace for anyone who claims they're against slavery. The least I could do is rescue some slaves for a nearby station, but they would only take two slaves. It's infuriating for them not to accept more! There needs to be a charity drive for these individuals. I came across an Imperial flying an Asp who had 10 Imperial Slaves in his hull. I fought him down to nothing and sent 3 limpets in to release his cargo with only wine falling out. So I carefully targeted his cargo hatch with an Imperial Anaconda and Viper Security Vessel on my ass on every turn and even after this cargo hatch was destroyed those slaves would not leave his possession. I attempted to leave him at 1% hull and force him to release his remaining cargo, but my beam lasers did more than I calculated and it left the Asp in ruins.. I'm so frustrated I'm almost considering leaving this sector of space, but I have an obligation to Vinge Station and I will save those 2 slaves and show them to a better life.

I slept in a cubby hole located just off the cockpit of my Asp due to the fact that hunting down those slaves got me exhausted. I woke to today and of course I dropped into a Nav Beacon and sitting right there in front of me is a Sidewinder that has 3 Imperial Slaves in his hold. I simply shot down his cargo hatch and collected those souls, only to find that Vinge Station does not care about these Imperial Slaves... They only wanted the ones that being traded outside the Empire jurisdiction. I would assume that this independent system is being high influenced by the Imperials that surround it, I should've known better than to assist this station.. Only question now, is what to do with these slaves. I have discretely discarded them inside the docking bay, I presume the system authorities or another kind hearted person will help those slaves. Even if that means transporting them back into Empire space. I've tried everything I could here, so I'm returning to the Alliance systems...

Upon departing George Lucas station I took a gander at my contacts and saw a mass of rares floating just outside the docking pay, and unusual amount of Leest Evil Juice and Wold Fesh. I didn't count, but I'd say at least 20. I would close to taking them for myself, until I saw how much commander activity there was. I'd say it was a trap, even if it wasn't I was not going to be the guy who picks one up and gets shot down for stolen goods. I've lost to many ships from stupid decisions like that.

Fer-De-Lance manufacturers has released a new ship concept art me to drool over. My assumption is that this ship will be more expensive than the Asp but much cheaper than the current Fer-De-Lance Python. Estimate around.. hmm 15-25M which is right in my ball park! If this ship proves to be a fast, agile, and powerful ship It may surpass my aspirations to own a Python, but of course that will all come with a few reviews and personal test runs.

After a few beers I continued on with my trades, I was coming into the more dangerous end of my route. Uszaa and Orrere; two anarchist systems that other commander's commonly prey on traders such as myself.
Upon entering the first system Uszaa I noticed a Cmdr Beelzebob ahead of me. Myself being slightly intoxicated and jumping to conclusions thought "Hey, this guy must be a pirate!" so I followed his tail and engaged an interdiction. I quickly realized I was in no way shape or form able to perform this interdiction effectively, but to my luck this commander submitted.

I very very poorly stabilized my ship, but remembered to send some power to systems in case this Cmdr is a little quick with the trigger.. I initiated a K-Warrent Scan as I always do and sent a friendly "Hello" which he replied "Hi :)"
I informed the commander that I was just conducting a scan. After seeing he was clear of any bounties I asked what he was up to, which he quickly replied "traders mission". Without hesitation I said "hmmmm in a viper?", but at the time I could care less what ship he chose. I was seconds away from saying my goodbyes and starting up my FSD when he sent a message saying "killin traders...". "Oh really?" I replied, which he answers "aye". I then began to warn him, that we might have a problem.

At this point the Cmdr began to circle me like a wolf circling his prey, but I did not feel the slightest worry piloting my heavily armed Asp. I've fought many Cmdr's who pilot Vipers and none of them had stood much of a chance, I was just worried how I would perform under my current condition. I requested that the commander readied himself and then began to fire upon him with everything I had. This experienced Cmdr had quickly released his Chaff launchers leaving my 4 Multi-Cannons utterly useless. His reign of lasers and shrapnel blinded my cockpit as I attempted to keep my beam lasers on target.

After many side swiping assaults from this Viper I began to feel like a stationary boulder holding his ground through a hurricane. I Dwindled his shield and began to shred his hull, he then slammed into my ship's side in what seemed to be a suicidal attempt to exhaust my shields. After that failed Commander Beelzebob completed yet another flawless fly by and this time he initiated his Frame Shift Drive. I was not going to let this pirate leave now, I put full power into engines and weapons, but the Cmdr turned around and flew meters above my cockpit once more and effectively bought himself time to replenish his shields. Shortly after I regained my sights and left him at 1% hull, I complimented Cmdr Beelzebob on a good fight and as he boosted away I released the remaining Multi-Cannon ammo leaving his Viper to explode into the distance.

After regaining my composure I noticed 4 units of cargo this man had dropped. Upon further investigation these were unregulated slaves.. I quickly made my way to the nearest Alliance station only to find myself interdicted by another Commander! Yet another Viper! After a quick chat and a few odd discharges of our weapons, I finally made it to George Lucas where I am currently sweating off this alcohol and in dire need of a safe place to keep these slaves.

- Thank you Cmdr Beelzebob and Cmdr Brightblade for such an eventful day, may I see you again in the stars.

I've heard reports of a Python pilot who is causing terror in the Lave system, through misfortune this station will not accept my slaves because of their *Stolen* property. As If my way of acquiring them was any worth than purchasing them at another station.. Ridiculous! Either way this station is still relying on me to retrieve them slaves for a better life and I will deny this Alliance request.. I need to make my way to Lave right now, with a hull full of damn rares in an attempt to gives these slaves a better life.

LHS 3447 has experienced an economic boom, which is not surprising with it's significant activity of independent pilots. They've generously subsidized a 10% discount for all outfitting and shipyard facilities, which is somewhat of a thorn to my heart knowing I'm still so far from a Python and that 10% would be a few days worth of trading..

On a happier note, the emperor has fallen into coma, yet they announced his life is not in danger. Other than that there us nothing worth annotating over the past two days, and I do not foresee any events occurring in the next few days.

Disregard my previous assumption of an uneventful next few days. Upon my return to Bast system with over a million credits worth of rares I was thrown into an interdiction. As usual I assumed it was a petty thief, but to my surprise it was a fellow member of the Pilots Federation; a Cmdr Luxurious who was piloting a well armed Asp. It quickly became a heated situation as we both deployed hardpoints and flew face to face. Through pure curiosity and hoping to receive a informative answer I sent the message "hmmm?", which he replied "hmmm indeed". As I began to type "How may I help you" He began engage me with 4 powerful beam lasers that quickly dwindled my shields, I initiated my shield banks and began to defend myself against this assailant. It was a very heated battle as I struggled to close my videos playing through the background of my cockpit.

Once his shields were exhausted I found myself chasing this pirate away in hopes I could disable his drives and leave him in ruins for his unprovoked assault. Yet I failed to destroy any of his modules, but this battle between Asps had changed into a race against time. He escaped from my grasp multiple times and I was fighting to keep him from Hart Station. Sadly he was able to reach the No-Fire Zone of the station with no shields and hull that was 44% intact. I began to ram the Cmdr in hopes of finishing off what I started, but it seemed useless.

As we both docked at this station and geared up for our next ventures we began to chat, which did not play out the way I has assumed it would have. This trigger happy, over zealous, aggressive fool turned out to be a man making his living in the most enjoyable way he saw fit, and informed me that he never destroys the ships he comes in contact with. Yet nothing he said made me feel any different about the events that played out and I still saw him as a threat that needs to be neutralized. We gave each other a less than kind farewell and we mutually hoped to come across each other another day in the future..

- Cmdr Luxuriou$ next time I hope to finish what you started..

Sitting in the cockpit of my new Python, that was merely set with nothing more and high grade cargo racks and a low grade shield generator. Not to mention filled with medicine worth more than a million credits that was ready to be shipped to Teng-Hui Hub. At the time I was cutting it close to what could ultimately leave me homeless on the side of the docking bay. I set off from Ray Enterprise and and upon my approach to Teng-Hui Hub I was interdicted, It was fairly difficult from the usual interdiction I receive. I saw on my radar a hollowed marker, my heart sank just a little. I straightened up in my seat, settled myself for a fight. This interdiction was his, there was no fighting it. We were thrown out of supercruise and into the depths of space, I stabilized my self and boosted away while asking "What?" to this commander. I waited for a response and received none, so again I said "What do you want?". That is when Cmdr Conrad replied "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD" and began to assault me. At this point I had made some distance between us and was quite confident on my timely escape. I asked the assailant "What does that mean?" which he quickly replied "Means I want blood, come here". I taught ed him saying "Good luck" as I escaped out of his grasps, but I knew it wouldn't end there.. I was less than 2Mm from Teng-Hui Hub! I tried to disregard the interdiction and safe disengage into the safety of the station, but I was foolish to attempt such a feat. I was thrown out of supercruise once again and this time Commander Conrad wasted no time. I messaged him "Damn Persistent" as he fired upon me. I attempted to zig zag and serpentine with my assist off and boosting as much as possible, but there was no chance of holding my shields. He ripped apart my hull in seconds and I barely escaped with 75% hull remaining. I high tailed it to the station and waited, assuming to find Commander Conrad following my tail, and then like clockwork a hollowed marker appeared on my radar as I docked at the station. I asked this anonymous Cobra Mk II "Is that you?" because there was no way for me to identify the commander's name. To my surprise this was Cmdr Cidiantoby, a mere trader in these parts. I shared with him the events that just unfolded and the named Cmdr Conrad sparked his memory. He told me just earlier that man informed him of a Python who was worth more than his entire ship. And at that point everything came together, Cmdr Conrad was a member of the Empire who was sent here to claim my bounty.

- Good fighting out there Commander Conrad, best of luck next time we meet.

I find myself in Liaedin once more.. You could say I'm looking for a reason to die, but there seems to be no end.. It seems I need a more enticing payout to become a more sought after prey.

One; Commander Brune, a brave and honorable imperialist attempted for my bounty. He manically waited as I battled with an Empire Anaconda and engaged me while my shields were low. I still managed to leave unscathed, but this pilot will go down as the the bravest Imperial I am yet to fight.
