CQC Ice Field is too bright in 2.0!

Dear FD, are you willing to kill my vision?
It's too bright and made me unconfortable in Ice Field!

Does anyone have idea about it?
It would be too dark in other maps if I adjust Gamma.

Also I have tried both 1.5 and 2.0 and there have no diffenence.

yup. That map makes me blind. I think the reason why they made that map so bright is because when you fly towards the sun you can't see anything. The one you are pursuing can get away by going towards the sun. Sort of like the battlefield 3 sun that made you blind when you were looking directly at it.

Was reported during Beta 4. "They are aware and looking into". And they've been doing that ever since the graphical downgrades have been proven to them. Supposedly a bug, but one that's been with us for how long now? 9 months? One that keeps getting worse even. Makes it very difficult to not think there's intent behind this alleged "bug".
 
I've noticed the same thing. It's very hard to see- feel like I need to put on my sunglasses. On the "bright" side, it has made flying into the star an interesting way to lose someone.
 
Looking at icy map yesterday I got an idea - these icy lumps are constantly being hammered by laser fire and cannon rounds. Wouldn't it be nice if the ones in the middle of the map would become somewhat melted (and thus semitransparent) to a point we can make out if there's a ship on the other side?

Current over-saturated, over-bright white everywhere is not looking good at all
 
1.4 was much better. Also the cannon hits.. What possessed FD to make it look like a xerox cartridge blow-up?

Look, devs, we want to have at least one bright map, but it must look nice at the same time - just pulling gamma curve up a lot isn't enough (textures, materials and lighting need to be redesigned as well)

TL;DR - too dark now (as it was before 1.5), but better than how you ruined it in 1.5-1.5.02 updates.

PS: just doublechecked - gamma was set to default in settings (the middle of the bar)

Looks about the same to me. (Watching your video, haven't had a chance to play yet).
