Hi , maybe the game should assign a special icon to players in the game ...sometime when fighting ..i do not know know who is player n who is npcs...i got texted by a player just not who are not happy i blown up his ship ..nor do i'm happy bout it coz i dont like blowing other player's ship. A special icon would help show to us instantly who is npc and who is player n helps us make a quick decision in the heat of a battle. Thank you.

If the name starts with CMDR it is a player. NPC's do not have CMDR in front of their name.

Also players are hollow on the scanner
Players show as hollow shapes on your scanner. Also if you target them they will always be called CMDR something-or-other.
Sometimes difficult in the heat of battle to spot but the distinction is there.
