ICZ GR-V B2-5 / Star collapse?

Hello fellow Commanders,

I came trough this system while travelling. There is a huge object, looking like a white star. I can not target it with any kind of sensor. I can not get near because of immense heat, even on greater distance.

It looks like an collapsing sun or something like an evolving supernova? Help me out, sinceguys.

I'm not really the kind of "exploring-guy", but i thougt you guys could maybe interested in some beautiful, yet dangerous object to see.

I hope you don't get yourself killed because i found something shiny.

has anyone had a chance to check this out yet? Im 12 kylies out or Id go look, sounds interesting. Galmap only shows an M and L class, what did Doseneinhorn see out there?

No idea - it was only three jumps from me, so I went for a look.

Two stars, M and L class as expected, are the only decent emitters, separated by about 170kLs. They're both surrounded by their own group of rocky ice and ice worlds, some of which have moons. None appear to be of any particular interest after surface scans.

No sign of any other large energy sources or indeed the aftermath of one, so if there was something here, it's not here now.

This is super strange as none of the bodies described come even close to matching:

I don't know if this is a bug or what, but its strange, weren't the thargoids known for their large white planetoid space-station things?

I mean I'm not saying it was thargoids...

I will make a screeny next time i see something. I was writng the thread as i already moved out of the system. Sorry about that. As i said. I am no explorer.

No worries. I call myself an explorer but I often forget to take screenies of interesting stuff.

you can still access the system map, can you post a pic of that? just search ICZ GR-V B2-5 in nav tab on galaxy map
