I'd like ship kits to be visible in the holographic display.

I've bought an FDL ship kit. It's very nice, IMO. Unfortunately, I cannot see it unless I use the outside camera, the holographic display does not show it at all.

I'd dearly like this to be changed. It'd be cooler if I could see the new kit when I'm in the cockpit, by just looking at the holographic display.

When we first got ship skins there wasn't an external camera at all, and the parts of the ship that were visible from the pilot seat didn't even change colour with the skin. A camera was added following player feedback, and the coloured bodywork was fixed.

Considering how much the ship kits cost I'd say the OP's request is one worth adding to the game. I'd like to see damage modelling (like the Conda has) added to all ships too, and have that also included in the HUD so that it represents the actual ship we are flying and targeting rather than just generic models of the type.
