Hello Coasters!, Hope you are doing well!

Currently making a beach on Planet Coaster (Just Started) It would be nice to have a Beach Pack DLC

Ideas

- Beach Towels/Towels
- Surf Board

- Jet Ski

Users/AI
- Users can change the AI clothes colours
- AI can interact with inflatables

Yes, that is a great idea! Pass this along to Sam! And we need a new beach biome with sand and ocean at one end, or a biome without a non modifiable skirt so that we can have ocean at one end without any land at the border of the map.

A beach pack I'd probably throw in the following:

Animatronic turtles.
Turtle shells.
Flexi color shipwreck peices.
Starfish.
Coral pieces(Maybe even a whole coral rock building set.)
Animatronic Mermaids.
Rotating lighthouse light... (As in an actual lighthous light.)
Animatronic crabs(Both of the hermit and regular varieties... Perhaps also with an oversized version.)
Animatronic octopus.
More ship props, tall ships, sail boats, perhaps something suited to be a smaller pirate ship when compared to the Grand Galilean...
Animatronic Castaways. (Some floating on planks even.)
Volley ball prop.... (Both with and without a face drawn on it.)
Volley ball net(To go with the ball prop.)

In real life, some amusement park have water park too, and on the RCT3 game, there was too! so that can quite fit for planet coaster !

I thought PlanCo is a Themepark (coasters, flat rides etc.) simulator, not a vacation simulator

Theme parks are very often a resort, so a complex where is themepark, hotels, waterparks and some other activities. In recent years, theme parks tend to squeeze water park areas directly into a theme parks (Thorpe Park, Terra Mitica, Energylandia and many more parks) or at least make it as a separate complex right next to the Theme Park. So I think such a pack would be refreshing and would only make game more diversive. It would be big step forward (As was Soaked for RCT3).

Bo already confirmed that Frontier has no plans for a water park DLC or water park elements for Planet Coaster. If it was a water-related DLC it would consist of new types of water rides rather than water slides.

Ah the monthly water park thread

Water parks have been confirmed as to not come to Planet Coaster.
So no slides, etc.

And I agree with Mez. It's a theme park simulator, not a beach side simulator. I'd rather not have Frontier develop these assets, but the players can do themselves with the Thememaker Toolkit If they want it so much. (I think that is why they release the TMT, Frontier doesn't want to develop certain stuff, so they give the ability to create your own beach towel set.)

funny thing is while many people ask for some beach related stuff, no one asks for an ocean landscape.. i'd really like to have such an option instead of just mountains in the distance. imho it would be a realistic implementation without performance cost (in contrary to mountains) and it would at least allow to create a park close to something you could call a beach.

Agreed, I think it would create a much better immersion if we have such a landscape.

[up] +1, but it's not true that no one's asked for an ocean-only surround -- this is a frequent request in the water-park topics, also here.

If you want working waterparks and slides, you'll have to go back to RCT3. And RCT3 was better at making beach parks with no background. There's nothing wrong with a beach pack, they gave us hotels, and hotels would work in a beachside town. There are and were beachside parks and piers in the US and UK. Like Wildwood, NJ, Ocean City, NJ and MD, Myrtle Beach, SC, Panama City Beach, FL, Santa Cruz, CA, Blackpool, UK for example. If I tried to build any of those places in PC, even on the grassland map it would look weird with hills in the background and the ocean ending because you can't make water go off into the horizon like you could in RCT3 and take the background away. When Bo said that about water parks, did that mean never or just no plans for the immediate future?

I do not know, but I would love the water park too .. then rct3 graphic level it has nothing to do, on Planet Coaster, it could be better !

I appreciate all your feedback on this post. Whilst this was a general idea i thought i would just give my thoughts about it.

I know Bo said there wont be a water park themed DLC. But i've tried to share another idea of a beach theme instead. Doesn't have to be water park related. That was just an idea too.

well most of you must not be in the us. if you think that amusement parks do not have water parks I can name ten on the east coast alone that have them.

now granted most of them is just a wave pool where you chill and a raft ride and two big type of slides.

they did it cause its a cash cow.

which planet coaster does have there version of a the raft ride so they did try to give you a taste of a water park, then the only thing they would have to do is give you a slide and there is your water park it is complete. the only thing that would not go is the swimming aspect. and number 1 reason why they would not do it cause the ride area of the park would have guest and then the swimming area would have the guest and this would kill your pc . so there that solves that problem.
so it can be either a ocean map a raft ride and a slide ride and most of you should be happy anything else you do or ask someone to help you out and make something in the theme makers tool kit. I know some people will sell there stuff on a website for modeling so you can just buy for cheap. to put on frontiers website.
