Instead of an actual module, it would make much more sense to have a cargo rack and be able to buy surplus ammo as a consumable commodity. Let’s say 1T of ammunition is good for one or two clips of ammo. Bonus mechanic would be target the cargo rack / use a hatch breaker, and watch the surplus ammo explode, dealing considerable damage to the pilot’s ship.
I know, I know, “Useless mechanic! Just synthesize more! There’s no need for it!” But I beg to differ. It bothers me that some of you would rather have no new content, just because all the ideas and suggestions don’t have a positive effect on you. Let us PvE players have this.
Also, I get the whole synthesize conundrum but do you go out and milk a cow every time you need milk or do you buy it in a store and keep it in your fridge, readily available for when you need it? Same idea goes with my purchasable ammo surplus idea.
