The real name of Sanuctary should be "Isla Verde" or "Green Island" There are two main reasons for why this should be the case. One being that the island itself is tropical (green) and second being that it is or was suppose to be a sanctuary, the term "green zone" would apply. I am convinced this island is the same one where "Jurassic Park: Europe was suppose to be so I will include this idea too. A ruined visitor center with ruined Jurassic Park buildings as decorations on Sanctuary Island. This would require a new map however it would be interesting to see.
It's not the same place as the Europe one there.
Transport to something there would be extremely difficult from Nublar or the other islands with a whole lot more risk built into it by either massively modifying the transports, or moving dinosaurs through the panama canal. Remember that the islands are in the pacific there.
It also wouldn't work from a narrative as Lockwood owned Sanctuary, and the islands for the Jurassic Park project were handled after the split there, even before the San Diego one began. Probably, even before Sorna and the deaths...
A lot of theories for the Europe location were more from either in the Mediterranean or part of the Azores if not a bit further away and more of something built along the African coast
