Idea: Ground Based Conflict Zones: LOOT

Hey I enjoy the Ground Combat zones, I wish they were harder, or had more difficulty levels,


BUT is there anyway we can get Loot or Guns or Armor Upgrades, or Just random pieces we need for the upgrades for our guns and suites?


I enjoy ground missions and combat but I think we need more reasons to do them, especially the combat zones,

Loot Crate at the End? Or random items needed for upgrades at the end, would be a game changer for FPS type people like me, it would give us progression that is not so hidden in the meta game,

Either that or have the Odyssey Mission Board generate Massacre Missions for the CZs like the Horizons Mission Board does for the regular space-based CZs. The missions would then become Material / Influence lootboxes and potentially a decent alternative to raiding (Anarchy) settlements for lawful-minded players.
 
I might try powering up a CZ to see if I can raid the data at least. Would be nice if once in a while the cabinets had some stuff in it.
 
As far as I can tell, the CZ's have all the cabinets empty, and most areas of the base are not reachable, even if you try to power the doors manually they do not open.

I like the idea of the soldiers giving you loot OR making the CZ's create Massacre Missions that you can do along with the CZ's to get loot / rewards, so far in the system I am in, there are no massacre missions for either side in the combat zones

The interactable panels inside a settlement are disabled during a CZ. The cabinets used to have stuff in them, but it looks like they were emptied in a recent update.
 
Yeah, thats a bummer...you can run CZ on ground combat all day long and not really get any progression, at least when your doing space fights there is loot from ships and scanned data etc.

CZ's on ground need some loot / data etc for their to be some progression or purpose to doing them. They are nice because they get you "quick" action, but other than combat rank no real reason to do them.

Bummer. The cabinets were empty when I did the Hero Ferrari requirement, which was a few updates ago.

Or use the new NPC mission givers.

Have a guy there is a Uniform, hanging out near the Front Line Solutions.

"Hey man I need to hit my quota. Join up for the fighting on Noonecares 9 and I'll throw in some ${MATERIAL}".


And then go a step further.

"Listen. I'm not just a recruiter. I'm from Intel. We know there is a data package somewhere in that facility. If you grab it with out anyone, and I mean anyone noticing I'll throw in a little bonus for you".
