Some features I would love to see in future packs/updates:
* Temperature (weather may not be possible due to the engine, but what about heat and cold)? The hotter it is the more demand for refreshments and water rides; path mist fans would be a great asset to plop on pathways so guests can cool off; even pathway canopies that provide shade for guests especially when standing in a queue. The colder it gets a decrease in attendance and ride popularity, which with the right management tools we could set an Off Season schedule where our parks could be closed to make repairs, renovation improvements, research ways to increase sales, and replace older attractions with new attractions.) This would also be a great feature to add Medics to our park staff. Depending on if it's hot medics would treat guests who are dehydrated;; if the park is freezing they could treat a guest who gets hypothermia. Medics could also treat guests who are nauseas, but the cost for medics can get quite expensive and depends on the popularity of your park, park profit, and depends on if you're park is a seasonal park or open year-round.
* Renovations- yes, scenery is more so eye-candy, but what about benches, lamp posts, pathways, and foliage? Over time parks can start looking run-down which can turn park guests away from returning if your park starts to appear as though it's not cared well. Mechanics or new staff: Renovator, could be hired to reseal pathway cracks, replace waste bins, repair benches, install new lighting, and water flowers and keep the landscapes manicured. Frontier could also implement the animations of a vandalizer who graffitis our parks which gives our park security more tasks to control.
* Water Texture- I would love to know water had a real purpose in the game. At the moment it's just a surface and I'm content with that due to the mechanics of the game. But what about water rides? Do guests not get wet? I mean, considering when they unboard from a water ride they still look dry. If our guests are truly smart, they would react in a way that suggests that they just got soaked. The same could be said if you place a geyser along a path and guest walks over it. I would like to see that guest react as, "I just got splashed," or "The water feels refreshing on this hot day." Just something that shows us that our guests can respond and interact with water in the game.
* Queue Triggers- Since we can't create walk-through attractions and they're labeled as "small attraction", it would be great to have queue triggers that only gave reactions and improved ratings of our attractions. Say you re-create Phantom Manor, so along the queue you had animated tombstones, changing portraits, phantom faces in the mirrors, etc., our guests would react to those triggers. If part of the queue has a 'show' we could have a trigger and set the wait time so guests know they may not move forward until the time runs out, then they can move to the next scene in the queue or board the ride. It would make dark rides more alive eliminating the need for walk-through attractions.
* Exit Queue/One-Way-Only Queue/Staff Only Queue- we don't need signs (although signs would be a plus: Staff Only; Construction Zone; Danger) that allowed our guests easier maneuvering through our parks. We could create more authentic backlots and stage areas where staff only traveled along employee pathways; One-Way-Only pathways could be a cheat around create walk-through attractions; Exit Queues allowed us to create gift shops at the end of our attractions.
* Park Skirts- more variety of landscapes that surround our parks. Just like many have requested over the months/year, more environments would be ideal. If you want to create a park on a pier then an beach with ocean would be ideal. If we want to create a park in a bustling city then a city landscape would be ideal.
* Multiple Entry/Exit Points in Sandbox- the ability to have turnstyles and exit points no matter where the borderline exists. This could allow us to customize a tiny bit of the area outside of the border. Similar to RCT days. We could then create pathways, spawn points, and even true parking areas that don't waste valuable sandbox space.
* New Terrain Tool- ability to dig perfect squares, circles, and other shapes. When creating tunnels using coaster/tracked ride, or even pathways we could auto tunnel which would automatically create a concrete square tunnel or create a custom tunnel we could construct ourselves without terrain pushing through structures.
* Water Light Display- at night water has no life whether it's creating a fountain or displaying water effects- it's just black. So instead of using lights, why not different color water texture for water effects? At least this way our fountains and water displays could appear during the night cycle.
