Ideas for changes to odyssey

For me it's about where the gameplay actually is. So for Odyssey:
- missions, combat zones, exobiology: good fun, adds some variety to the space activities I was already doing, would be silly to replace with a menu option
- the concourse; having to walk a minute each way to talk to an NPC to ask them to bring up a holo-menu interface I could have had in my ship: not at all fun, one of the main reasons exobiology is the only Odyssey activity that's been incorporated into my normal gameplay
I don't disagree with that, I play Star Citizen also and they are talking about loading cargo by hand. I think that is a time sink hell scape. What I would like is more activities in the current professions. Like planet mining. It could be like the way eve does it where you go to a planet and maybe claim it with an outpost or let me place a mining drone and pick it up from time to time. Same with combat, pirating, and the like. Add more flavor. They have all the base components now and they sacrificed our brothers/sisters on the console side. FDev don't make their sacrifice mean nothing feed those systems like Power Play and make them fat an happy.

That'll be a great sales pitch, won't it - "Buy Odyssey, for three extra minutes walking every time you just want to use the shipyard screen!"

More integration between on-foot and in-space content, great - but it can't be done by just making the existing in-space content more time-consuming.

Can you imagine the complaints from Odyssey players regarding refueling fleet carriers. Having to get out to swap ships to refuel the FC, then having to do the same again to swap back to their other ship? Meanwhile H players going, "hey yeah, we got it easy!"
