Identify this husk?

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but in a toss-up between Exploration and Ship Discussion this won out.
I was busy... ahem... trading around a few systems and I came across a system under a state of war. Combat zones, those interesting "Seeking Weapons" signal sources, the like (I'm only mentioning this as it may help to give context to it's existence).
Anyway, I found this burnt out shell of a ship that I couldn't work out what was. I'm sure it's glaringly obvious but I was stumped.

I'm sure one of you chaps could identify it easy enough. I need to satisfy my curiousity :D

That's the old N11-7811 -- an Imperial Clipper! I wondered whatever happened to her. I believe it's one of the earliest production lines out of Gutamaya Shipyards.

Looks messy. Maybe the CMDR was hauling explosives.

Edit: If you find any pieces of the control panel, the carbon fiber on mine is slightly cracked; I'll pay 400cr for the face-piece if you find it in good condition.

Thanks, chaps. Consider my curiosity suitably quenched :p
Must be a by-product of what seems like a particularly heated Fed on Empire conflict going on there. I feel like that sort of fighting could be a chance for the local mafia to get a foothold, I may have to... look into that...

Wait - at least one of those ship pieces bears a strong resemblance to a Lakon Type-9. Perhaps it could be the hulks of two different ships?

I thought it could have been a Type-9 at first, but it's way too small. The pieces were of a similar size to my Cobra.

It looks like a Viper to me, but I wear glasses.

What was this before Mr Python did his thing Kiss it Better.jpg
