Horizons Idiotic question probably - powerplay lost 2m credits

Hi, as a noob to the game I recently lost 2m credits after a server disconnect - and yes I didn't bother reading the instructions.

Need some help, apparently I spent 2m buying things in powerplay. What? I delivered 260+ tonnes of political prisoners and agreed (then abandoned) to deliver maybe 16 trade agreements.

I contacted support who said....

"I've had a look into your account for you and can see that your credits peaked at 8.96 million at 17:42. From here I can see a lot of instances of Powerplay related purchases, multiple instances of 10,000 over a period of about an hour until you reached the balance of 6.3 million. "

Yeah and all this the first time I delved into helping the pledged woman. Great!

I know 2m isn't alot, but when you're just starting out it's quite a high chunk of my credits.

What on earth did I do? Why does delivering prisoners and trade agreements cost you money? Did I do something else stupid?

Ahh when loading the 256 tonnes of prisoners, I did click a button above the normal text where you decide how many tonnnes to load that isn't shown right now which said something about xxxx for 100,000 credits.

Same text is not on screen right now.

No idea what a cooldown timer of 30mins is? Don't remember seeing that on screen, and definitely no warning that this would cost me 10,000 per tonne.

Please read the 'xxxx' next time, that 100,000 is to rush and make accessible the next 10 tons of supplies, in your case it sounds like prisoners. If you look at the section which says how many are left to be taken, it will give you a timer of how long before you can get additional supplies for free.

Well fingers burnt, though I don't think the text describes the charge to your account (there should be a confirm button for these amounts).

In any event, last time I engage in power play for quite some time if ever.
