Engineers If Anaconda Jump distance to 45 or 50 LY jumps, does it drain 25% of tank each jump? Remedy?

Title kind of says it all. Currently my Any has a 25.75 jump distance due to being combat oriented / multi role and when I travel 100 LY that takes about 4 jumps. Each jump drains about 1/4 of the tank. The frequent fuel scooping gets old.

Once I'm pushing 45 or 50 Jumps do you veteran explorers have to use the fuel scoop basically every jump or every other jump? I'm hoping for enjoyability there are other ways for me to travel. Like at jumps of 50 ly per jump I'm hoping I can make like 5, then maybe scoop, 4, then scoop, 6 then scoop.

Please tell me it isn't every jump or every other? If so, can we somehow make it more efficient with the 50 ly jumps?

Could have asked this in your other thread mate :p no it won't drain half your tank. It uses more fuel per jump, but the jump distance increases far beyond the increase in fuel consumption.

If you look at your FSD in outfitting, you'll see a stat for its fuel usage. That's the amount of fuel it will consume on a jump at its absolute maximum range. It depends on FSD class, and is completely independent of how long the maximum range jump actually is. It can be modified by secondary effects when engineering, but only by a few percent.

Explorers do typically scoop on most jumps. It's faster and safer to scoop one jump worth of fuel on the way around the star than it is to let your tank drain and have to fully refuel. What class fuel scoop are you using on your Conda? Sounds like you might have something a little small for comfortable long range travel.

What is the point of your saying that. I always find it amusing. I would never take the time to look at what other thread you gave, then decide what subject I think you should or should not split off. Would you feel "better" if I told you I apologize and should only split off posts you seem worthy of a separate subject? El oh El.

This is a separate subject on jumping and fuel scooping.

Would love an answer to the frequency of scooping... Which you did not provide. Are many of you guys scooping every or every other jump? See main post

This is what I'm looking for. Thank you!

Yeah it's... separate... Was responding to you in another thread already, on a subject directly related to FSD, simply bantering that you could have served the question there. Meant absolutely nothing by it but whatever.

Welcome to the galaxy! I hope you fall into your first star and fkn die.

Gotcha buddy. Makes sense. Cheers. Let's get a beer sometime before I die.
