Vulture= a Jeep with two huge gun tripods it can’t quite balance
Lakon Types 6-9 = small, medium and giant articulated lorries
Asp= posh Range Rover
Federa lDropship = Hum-Vee
Imperia lClipper = Posh Bentley
Fer-de-Lance= James Bond’s Aston Martin
Orca= Luxury coach
Python/Anaconda= armoured personnel carriers


OK the size thing is a bit awkward...

Hold on. The hauler is the white Ford transit van of space, no denying. That has been said for ages, the Adder is just an impersonator!

Hauler = Transit Van
Adder = Minivan

I'd say the Cobra is a 70s American muscle car with a solid rear axle. Powerful and fast in a straight line but easily outmaneuvered by other ships.

The Type 9 Heavy is a Kenworth W900. It's basically a huge truck.

The Adder is a pickup truck, something like a Dodge Ram but cheaper. Good for most things, to a certain degree. Good cargo capacity, great combat ship and a relatively low price (not counting the upgrades).

Sidey ain't bigger than Eagle and Eagle ain't that fast...

If Sidey is a Mini than Eagle is actually an MX-5 (Miata) or Toyota 86 because of manuverability

Viper is revved up Golf GTi and Cobra is actually a pick-up truck (GM Commodore SS. Those things are freaking fast)

The Clipper always reminded me of those armoured limos that world leaders ride around in. Nice, but also can resist a freaking explosion and sustained machine gun fire.

I'm quite liking the Vulture - Nissan GTR comparison, although personally I find both the Vulture and Nissan GTR to be badass-looking. Probably because I associate the looks with the performance/$, which is probably why I think the other two best looking ships are the Clipper and the Viper.

Viper is a Vespa with a minigun on the front ^^

Clipper is a Maserati. Looks good, quite fast, but actually a bit of a pig. Main purpose is as a chick magnet<Ahem>

Once I heard the Adder engine noise, I thought of it as a school bus. One of those short, ahhh, special school buses. One that's on its final miles and was retired, the VIN number filed off, the odo rolled back to some unbelieveable number, and then sold on a curbside to someone who didn't have insurance papers.

I like the Cobra as the prototype muscle car, that's about it all right: more torque than brains, unbeatable in a straight line but not so great on the curves. And something of a gas guzzler to boot.
