If I drop from fsd do I become a uss?

Just what the title says. If i just drop out of cruise can folk see me as a uss? I know we can follow friends etc into their fsd wake etc. but I dont know how long an fsd wake lasts.

Better question might be, "if I just sit in open space for long enough, do I become a uss?"

If you buy the Xenomorph Egg and drop out of SC and sit there for a million years your ship becomes a USS that unwary explorers can visit and discover the horrors that lurk in space.

I know if out are pulled out of SC you leave a Low Energy Wake (LEW). I know if you drop in to a USS you leave a LEW. So it stands to reason that if you drop from SC on your own you will leave a LEW. LEWs seem to last for a few minutes.
