So I paid over £50 for the horizon season, on steam, got NO DLC just game updates which were free to all and all we get is a title and a ship paint job ??
and I now have to purchase, "odyssey" this seems a bit off to me, What was the point of horizon pass, Money grab ?
Frontier has weird problem with naming things it seems. Starting with the game title - Elite Dangerous, which doesn't mean what you think it means, unless you've seen a video of long and convoluted explanation by Braben and then it's just confusing.
Season Pass suggest that there might have been other paid DLCs that owners of the Pass would get for free, while others would in the end pay more buying them separately - nothing like that is true.
Season Pass in case of Horizons is misleading and I'm not sure what the thinking was (did they just understand the Season Pass name differently from the rest of the world?). There was never any other version of Horizons AFAIK, meaning that you could not buy non-Season Pass version.
Maybe the reason behiond the name was to justify initial price, that might have seem steep for just one DLC - suggesting content updates over the years. Although.. over 50 pounds on Steam? Hm.
