Given the game mechanisms it was guaranteed it was all goign to end in last minute snipes, ebay style, but requiring your player base to be ingame at 6 AM isn't the best choice you ever made. Since for once this is a british company maybe accomodating your european playerbase would be better overall so as many people as possible can participate.
If PP is going to be decided by sniping, at least make the week change at a decent hour.

That's a weird logic...
No matter the time they choose, someone's always going to be moaning - satisfying the european player base (wich I'm part of) before others isn't going to change anything.
Besides, it doesn't make sense to make the update when there's a lot of players connected, it will only frustrate more people when it happens.
Not really, US companies usually hammer their customers with "stay silent about the maintenance time, we're US based so just live with it".
What they are doing is a good way to royally screw their european customers, who, if it goes like other online games, are actually more numerous than US people. It's again catering to the unemployed which is annoying at length.
