If there are only 4 animals in DLC - what should it be?

If the trend would stick and every next DLC would have only 4 animals, what do you think we would get next?

I'm not picking any animal.
If they deliver something else I only can get dissapointed.
I'd rather just be surprised with whatever they show up.

Why don't you all add to the lniked thread above if you have pack ideas? Would give Frontier a better overview.

EDIT: Oh, okay, nevermind. Different approach. Looked like the same one at first to me. My bad.

I'm a bit curious.. Why are all of you choosing the emu for an Australia DLC? I see that everybody agree that koala and red kangaroo should be included, and then the 4th animal has much more diverse options (Tasmanian devil, wombat, some wallaby, platypus...?). But I think that for the "big bird" slot the cassowary would be much better than the emu, which is very similar to the ostrich, and also arguably cooler ;)

Good point.
Eventhouh I also chose the emu in a different thread, you're probably right. Honestly I didn't think of it too much and just chose whatever I came up with first. The thing is that,
apparently (from what I gathered from Australian people) the emu is more iconic to Australia than the cassowary, featuring even in some official Australian logos. Either way, it'd be a great shame that any of the two would be excluded from the game.

I'd happily buy a pack with nothing but exhibit animals:

Scarlet kingsnake
Emerald tree boa
Panther chameleon
California kingsnake

As @random goat pointed out emus are more of an iconic symbol of Australia than the cassowary is. And although the cassowary is an amazing animal and I really hope we get it for the game, emus are a much more common species in captivity and if we are only limited to four species at first with a DLC I’d definitely prefer the emu as a representative of Australia.

Well here’s my packs. This is tough to choose 48 animals but here they. I want penguins and seals but since they’re not guaranteed I didn’t include them.

If I could add some rare underdog animals to this they’d be African Civet,Hirola,Soala,Himalayan Tahr,Chiru,Iberian Lynx, and (Greater Eland not really rare) I’d be happy with any of these if they made it.

Even though I'd be very dissappointed ( but not surprised ) if they continue this trend of 4-animal packs, these would be my choices:

Oceania:
  • Red Kangaroo
  • Koala
  • Cassowary
  • Matschie's Tree Kangaroo ❤

Europe:
  • Iberian Lynx
  • Red Deer
  • European Badger
  • Alpine Ibex

  • Adelie Penguin
  • Southern Fur Seal

North America:
  • Alaskan Moose

  • African Leopard
  • White Rhinoceros
  • Red River Hog

I think this thread is supposed to be what you think they would be rather than what you wish there would be.

Przewalski horse
Mantle baboon
And the possibility of having small aquatic animals in aquariums and paludariums (like exhibits), such as periophtalmus, toxotes jaculatrix, paguroidea (sorry, don't know what they are called in english and if I use google-translator, the outcome may be funny but not comprehensable), some reef-species (and I don't know where to end ;) )
