If you are still having problem getting the DK2 working with .8 runtime please read.

Even with all the advice given on this forum I was having a hard time getting my DK2 to work with Horizons using Windows 10 and .8 Oculus runtime. I wasn't even able to get my DK2 to work with Steam VR. So for those of you still having this problem try installing or reinstalling Virtual Desktop, and install Steam VR. You don't have to actually run either of these programs. The Virtual Desktop installer will update and add all the parts needed for the DK2 to run properly on Horizons. I now have ED setup for HMD speaker in game options and it triggers the DK2 automatically when I run ED.
Things to keep in mind, I get better framerates when in full screen mode. It seems to be bound to my monitors maximum HZ, but there are other posts explaining how to setup your monitor so you can get at least 75hz refresh rate on your monitor.

I hope this helps, I was struggling for a week trying to get my DK2 working with both Elite and Steam VR, the Virtual Desktop installation fixed the issue.

Gonna try this reload everything and hope this does it as I cannot get it to run in the HMD nor is it an option in the Graphics (in Game)

Virtual Desktop works but not Elite light never goes blue when launched

Edit: It looks like Steam VR is not grabbing my HMD light never goes Blue but does for the demo scene on the Oculus and also works for Desktop VR, wasteing a lot of time trying to get Steam VR to grab this.
