I'd go for Ace Combat. The combat themes are superb, and the themes for briefings, hangars, etc., would be great for all those non-combat scenarios.

Yeah, Eve music is good.

But how about to simply build in a music player to the game, so we can all listen what we want, what's a pretty good idea considering how many tastes we have?
And talking about ingame music? When the last time i brothered with mining i noticed the usual ambient music silenced, because i fired the weapons, but since there is no battle, i did not heard the battle tracks, just total silence. I think something must be done with this right?

Edit; If we can choose what tracks we want to listen as ambient and battle musics?
