If you could own a capital ship what would you call it?

Just a bit of fun if you could have your very own Capital ship what would you call it?

Thunder Child: named after the iron clad from War Of The Worlds.

I've always wanted to use the name Lightwarp, but I don't think it would fit any of the smaller ships. I'll reserve that for my imaginary cruiser.

I like battle Beast would was thinking about band names as well almost went with Iron Maiden or Amon Amarth.

But I decided to go with the Thunder Child in the end thought it fitted quite well with the whole scfi theme and it kicks some serious alien ass it manages to take down two Tripods on its own :D

I might go for something inspired by Iain M. Banks…

"The small matter of your untimely death"

"I told you not to do that"

"That's not a laser, THIS is a laser"

I've been reading "The Hydrogen Sonata" by Iain M Banks recently, so I think some of his strange Culture ship names would be fun.

Something like the "Just a washing machine chip in life's tapestry" and other wierd ship names :D

Well if it was Imperial it could be Duvals Sword, if it was Federation Corporatocracy and for an Alliance one (do they make their own capital ship?) it would have to be Chancer of Fate.

I don't know ... I will probably choose between : No quarter, Bohemian Rhapsody, Baba O'Riley, Highway star, Hand of doom, Private Investigations, Invisible sun, Jumping Jack Flash, Helter Skelter :D

Well my first one would be named London, its a capital and I can think of seven other reasons for the name. The second one would be named Liberator, can't think of name for a third one atm :p

I like the name WARSPITE, as used by the Royal Navy for the past 400 years. It just succinctly sums up a death machine.

Failing that, I like MR MUSCLE. :)
