I was wondering about this, how do you trust either party to exchange it sounds more like a drug deal than a contract?

LOL some people must be desperate. I dump many of the items listed when mining as they are common and not worth much. Still good on you, if people are willing to pay >10x the market price so they don't have to go mining then that is what it is worth.

I can imagine why the swapshop is appealing to some players if you are focused on a achieving a goal and are looking for a fast track route and of course you can have player supplying materials too as a trade.

I've got a big surplus of materials myself, not sure what I'd sell them for though.... probably information and knowledge would be my price.
