If you had to choose between the Flying Birds or the Fishes or the Cetaceans or the Dinosaurs what would you choose?

I choose either the flying birds or the fish. Because dinosaurs and cetaceans I don't want to have them even though I really like these animals ..
I hope flying bird will and fishcome out next year ..
And you, what do you choose?

Flying birds. Fish would be ok but aren’t necessary and there are lots of reptiles, mammals, birds, etc., etc. that are needed more. I hope cetaceans and extinct species, especially dinosaurs, are never added. Fortunately I doubt they will be.

Flying birds are a must to give us to complete PZ
I’d want piranhas and some kind of freshwater fish exhibits but I’d want them secondary. Also I hope my idea of a planet aquarium could become a reality.
No a thousand times no on cetaceans
Prehistoric kingdom and Jurassic world evolution got the dinos covered.

To me, cetaceans and extinct species are COMPLETELY out of the question for this game, so I'll focus on birds and fish.

I'd say birds are more important at the current moment as zoos really need flying birds to feel complete. I would still like to see some fish in the game (Preferably freshwater species but a small collection of reef fish would be acceptable too), but they are a much lower priority for me.

Definitely flying birds. Zoos feel somewhat lifeless without them.

Then some freshwater fish like piranha and catfish, that could be easier to implement as exhibit animals with looped animations.

Adding cetaceans would bring an unnecessary controversy, and in last place would be any extinct animals (Frontier already develops JWE, and those who prefer a more realistic simulator can look forward to Prehistoric Kingdom.

Birds, definitely. They are what's missing for a real Zoo lineup.
I'd love aquariums, so fishes would be next, but not as essential.
I agree with the sentiment that cetaceans should probably not be held captive and dinosaurs do not belong in this game for realism reasons and because there are decent alternative games for them.

I want both ! I prioritize aquariums more however. I would love for all the animals (except extinct species) you mentioned (cetaceans included) be added to the game. I think that while most facilities in real life don’t care for them properly a couple are doing a great job and planet zoo should make their requirements as such. Make it a learning opportunity for players! Don’t limit the game because real life institutions have failed. With that Logic elephants and Apes shouldn’t be in the game. Allow the players to have a choice on if they want to add a cetacean or not. Don’t completely deny them from players that want to create a good facility for cetaceans like Georgia aquarium or something potentially better

Birds, easily (and, IMO, obviously). In-zoo aquaria do occur but are not universal, but bird displays are. Extinct animals, fantasy animals, and cetaceans have no place in a game pushing a conservation and animal welfare message.

Even with aquaria I'd still only be happy with exhibit-style small aquariums which display a handful of marine creatures, such as a tropical fish tank or maybe the common octopus. I don't know how well that would work, though, since Frontier has said they want all animals to be 'individual' and you can't really display tropical fish outside of a community (and thus far, no mixed-species exhibits). I don't think such a feature is on the cards, though, otherwise we probably would have gotten something with the Aquatic Pack.

Birds, however, are certainly a realistic expectation at this point I think. It's the one major theme they haven't touched so far, even in terms of ground-birds (the only DLC bird we've had is the cassowary, which is heavily based on the ostrich model, so nothing really too unique). If they can figure out a good way to do aviaries then birds are the natural next step, and since they managed diving, after professing very early on that it was extremely difficult, they will doubtless figure out aviaries in some fashion, too.
