If you leave a bounty on you, do you get stations opening fire on you, or denying docking?

So is there anything drastic that will happen if you are wanted, (apart from being interdicted all the time).

yes they will open fire go to a small outpost in the system and pay the bounty off there if your ship is too big to land at a small out post then buy a side winder and use that

Stations don't care, but if the security ships scan you they will tell the station to open fire. You can sneak in with a bounty as long as no ship sees you.

This is the correct answer. I've had 2 bounties on me, early days, for mistakes I made. I was able to dock and pay them at a station. I just avoided being scanned.
