Episodes 1.4 and 2.2 show off what these weapons can do. If I wasn't 24,000LY away from home, I'd taking my Viper MKIV out for some fun, equipped with a pair of those special, special guns.

And the rest of the episodes for The Expanse aren't bad either. [up]

I love railguns.

I find railgun/missile combos quite enjoyable, even if they are not the most efficient "build".

The Expanse is not exactly a scifi masterpiece, but it sure is the best scifi show in the last few years, in this unfortunate ongoing dark age era for television scifi.

Keep meaning to watch The Expanse, unfortunately, the trailer for it is so incredibly boring, I can never get myself in the mood. Lol

Looking forward to the Battlestar Galactica, and Lost In Space remakes though. :D

And the new Star Trek: Soon™ series of course.

Actually plasma slug railguns are an awesome weapon for an explorer who doesn't want to leave everything on chances.
I mean, we already have big fuel tanks and great heat efficiency. So if you pack at least a half decent shield, you're golden.

Quite enjoyed watching expanse to be fair, has a fairly decent plot and cast unlike alot of shows I've tried to watch lately

Don't make the mistake of watching the Nick Cage series, it's absolutely dire managed 2 episodes, to see if it got better after the first... it doesn't

When they let loose with the rail guns on each other and they just perforated everything...

Crazy!

What a crappy (but quick) way to go. But, you'd figure they would have a crap ton of pressurization issues after that. Oh well.
