If you make a normal Pre- Order, When the game releases, will you get a steam key?

Hi, I was browsing Google and when I searched one of the suggestions said, "planet coaster steam". Is it true that it will be released on steam? If so, If you get the Game as a Pre- order, will you get a steam key when it is released? Thanks, Jackaroo.

"Upon the release of Planet Coaster all pre-order customers will be granted a Steam Key which can be redeemed for game access via the Steam client."

It literally says it on the store ahah.

Assuming your talking about the £20/$30 version, that is.

once alpha 3 releases on aug 23 the game will require steam, steam will be absolutely necessary to play the game no matter what version you buy

I'm confused. So will the regular pre order people get to play on the 23rd? Or just early birds?
