Hi Guys,
I didn't know where should I post this, I think here should be ok.
I had a problem that stopped me playing Elite for long time. Basically my mouse cursor would not get locked to my main screen. So if I used headlook and moved to far left (my second display is on the left) my cursor would move to second screen and then if I clicked I would get dropped to desktop. This was extremely annoying. I've poked around for answer, tried numerous things but to no avail. This happened to me even when I upgraded my hardware.
I've tried disabling any software with overlay (Steam, Origin etc.) tried different drivers for my mouse, I could go on.
I've tried my luck with the Frontier support but Mike just replied to me saying that they cant find/replicate the issue I have. Which is totally understandable as it happens to so few people.
Anyhoooo, I have found that little neat program that is called DualMonitor Tools. There you can specify a key combination that locks your cursor to screen it is currently on.
You can read more here:
http://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1...-mouse-inside-a-game-on-a-dual-monitor-setup/
And you can download the program here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/dualmonitortool/?source=typ_redirect
It works for me, so I am hoping it will save you frustration if you have the same problem.
