If you see a WANTED player?

don't give him a warning, it gives him ample time to deploy hard points turn and face you and stick all his pips to shields and weapons

do the cowardly thing and, drop to silent running, sneak round behind him and pop him in the back whilst he his gaffing around with trying to figure out where the letter box is in the station he is heading to

Even better .... wait till he logs in to his Star Citizen account and wait till he gets out his flight chair, walks back down the ship, unzips his trousers, pulls his pants down and sits on the toilet and presses D to dump (you know all that useful stuff in a space sim) ..... then shoot at him

One approach is is to shout "Oi you laddie, yes you stand still when Im talking to you" and then shoot him when he does, failing that the best method is to gun the ****** down before they know you are there. Fire all weapons and dispatch Warlock and Ajax to bring back their body.

The second method may be a little flash for some though :)

A couple of weeks ago I opportunistically attacked a fleeing wanted player. The guy had been scanned with scooped cargo, and was being pursued by Vipers. So it was probably unkind of me to take advantage. Anyway, he got the last laugh. With his hull critical, he turned and boost-rammed me. I survived with 10% hull and he died. I foolishly scooped the same cargo, got scanned and one-shotted by the local space station.

I felt justice had been done, if I'm honest.

Apart from reading the title of this thread?

The first night when I downloaded the premium beta.

I spent the whole evening figuring out how to get my X52 pro configured and all the keys bound to joystick buttons. By the time I had finished it was (way) past time to shut everything down and go to sleep, without having played the game at all:S

...or if the civilian thought it was someone else entirely that shot him and shot someone else in return and becomes WANTED :)
I witnessed something like that in front of one of the stations. I was shooting wanted npcs going in and out of one station when another player turned his guns on me (probably without scanning to see if I had a bounty, I didn't have one, just fines for violating the no fire zone) and he got ripped apart by station security.

/me reports the mod to the mods for an off topic post :p

for me it depends on the bounty, if its a couple of hundred buck i dont bother as its not worth the potential hassle. a couple of thousand credits is a different story though - if you have that big a bounty on your head you better watch your back as if i get within range i will try and kill you :D

If I see a player with "WANTED" on his ship, am I wrong if I shoot him down immediately? or should I give him a warning before start shooting?

I check the level of their bounty before I decide if I can be bothered to kill them. I may show mercy on hauling craft... Or i may not...
