If you were allowed to name a Planet/Station/system what would you call them

As there is no way I can jonty up to the name a space station/planet level I figured I would make this post for the rest of us...

I would call my Planet Banana and make it a republic

I would call my Space Station Destination

in the system Ummbongo (extra m for copyright purposes)

Have to say I'm not particularly inclined to name one. The names I've heard so far all sound pretty good and in keeping with what I'd expect to see in the elite universe. I'd probably name it after something personal that would sound crap.

Station Naming.

I would recommend using sponsors here like we do IRL naming ball parks, arenas and stadiums. That could help pay for servers. Face it, that the way it will be in the future anyways. Large corporations will own stations and name them accordingly. Things like "Verizon - Orion System - Trading Station" and have Verizon pay a small sum to cover ongoing server costs.

I'd call my system "Digestive".

I'm soooo glad I couldn't afford that pledge level, it means I wasn't tempted to do any of these:-

Janet station (with argumentative traffic controllers , so many cries of "Damn it , Janet") orbiting the planet of Transexual in the Transylvania system.

Glitterball station orbiting the planet Disco in the Sound system.

Also in the Sound system you could find Trancentral station orbiting Mu Mu with it's justified and ancient citizens.

I would would have to name the planet "Nowhere", and the system "Portant"...

And though I wasn't thinking of it before, I should have named my Commander differently. I should have used General Marik....

if I was able to name a planet or station without spending the money to do so, I would have gone for something very different with my naming.

Station would have been Saints Pride.
and the planet would have been Hiigara. a reference to the game Homeworld.
but as spending the sort of money required to name a planet/station I thought I would make every dam penny count.
