First I want to warn that this thread is kind of gross, fortunately not visibly with any photos, but typed in such a way that will get you the feeling.
I remember, somewhere near 10 or 8 years ago there was a TV documentary on a family with their son having a very absurd medical incident, in fact I know that it was somewhere in North America. I can't really remember anything about it, but all I can remember was a boy child being rushed to the hospital after seeing what appeared to be his lower legs coated in blood, but no other damage was visible. The bleeding resulted in the boy eating some kind of breakfast that may of had a particular chemical in it which caused his blood vessels in the lower portion of his legs to burst out through his skin. I know, this doesn't make any sense.
The trauma staff were in such a panic, nothing you'd ever see in most ER situations, medical apparatus was thrown all over the place on the floor in panic and tons of large medical equipment was rolling in the room, crashing through stuff in front of them, all of that mess in exchange to desperately and quickly save the boy's life. What makes it more absurd is that none of this was acting at all-it was all real. Now this documentary just popped out of the blue and i'm very curious to understand whatever kind of medical incident happened that day. Doctors? Surgeons? Medical analysts? Any one else in the medical field that might have a clue to this?
And to cool everything off, fortunately the boy survived.
