I am a pirate, yes, thats right, I make my living from taking your stuff.
That being said, I have been a pirate long before this game. I spent 5 years in EVE being a pirate. long before the "code" went to crap.
So to set the record straight....
if i target you,
- you will get a warning, something along the lines of "cut thrust and eject "x" amount of cargo"
--I wont just start shooting
- I only attack type-6 and above, at the point of being able to trade in these monster ships you have made enough money that what i'm going to ask you to drop isn't going to kill you. which leads me to the next point.
-I will only ask you to drop what I can carry, I fly a Viper and a Cobra out fitted to the max.
--if your carrying less than i can hold i'll only ask you for part of it, I understand that sometimes you have just bought that new ship and cant afford to fill your cargo hold to max.
-If you eject the cargo I will let you go, through all my years of pirating I have never killed someone to complied with my request. period. My reputation is the single most important thing I have, to tarnish that would leave me destitute.
-if i interdict you and your in a sidewinder don't panic, i'm probably giving some cargo as a gift.
