I'm a smuggler. Should I equip an AX missile launcher? (Is that what they are called?)

Title, really. I'm not the sort to go unarmed. Was thinking of replacing the multicannon. That would give me one AX in a medium, one fixed cannon, (a weapon I love), and my two beam turrets.

Thoughts?

I mean, who says the aliens won't make an incursion?

P.S. Where can I buy the launchers?

Surface ports only? As in, non-Horizons players cannot get them? Not that I am affected (nor do I intend to betray our new insectoid overlords), but this would be a rather sad state of affairs.

P.S.: Checked Jameson Memorial, no sign of the new gear here.

It stated in the CG info' that they would only be available at surface ports.

Basically, no Horizons = No Thargoid killing.

No point really because soloing one of these is currently incredibly difficult, and shooting at them REALLY pi...winds them up.

I would suggest ensuring your shield boosters are optimal, your thrusters as dirty as possible and your shields hardened. Then booting it away....

Until the bit where Brony said they're also effective against human ships.

It's now for that reason I'm buying.
