I've bought all my Large (Hull) Ships and Modules at LYR...
The Savings Add Up!

And when I bought my Cutter and Corvette I Transfered/Flew them to an LYR System for Outfitting, where they each remained as the Parts were purchased and installed... I didn't fly them out until they were Ready.

I totally agree. I got ranked up for the Cutter a year and a bit ago and never bothered to get it after realizing and researching I had no real use for it. So I slowed down on the grind for the Corvette, thinking why would I use this when I already have an FDL and a few other combat ships? Damn was I missing out.

Love the 'vette, though only after fully engineering it and then finally finding a weapon loadout I liked and worked for me (after about 2 weeks engineering and trying out all sorts of weapon combos).

Now I'm done and finding I may not have much use for my wonderful FDL anymore. Though I'll figure something out, but you'll totally enjoy the Corvette...

I've always had a Founder's World Permit, and I never buy anything at Jameson because it's cheaper elsewhere.



Yeah, a fully decked out vette is about 30-40 million less expensive in LYR space vs. Founders World, with several million less on rebuy as well.

I've got Elite and 5.5 billion in assets. I still buy at LYR or whatever's cheapest.

Pretty much this. Also. A fool and his money are easily parted. Don't be a fool, always buy and outfit in Li Yong Rui space unless you happen to find that exceptionally rare 20% discount once in a blue moon (ie never). Every single bit helps when it comes to rebuys, you'd think people sitting behind several billion are safe but if they play and open and meet a wing of PvP'ers looking to gank, those rebuys DO add up, even fully discounted at 15% on everything a rebuy comes close to 50 mil. Don't be dumb when it comes to purchase and outfitting.
