I'm amazed at how good JWE2 is..

Compared to JWE1. Being a space game player, i signed up for gamepass for starfield, and before my free month ran out, just randomly tried it on the way out.

While i mildly enjoyed the original, almost every play i was reminded of "i wish they had included x", it was a constant sadness. While only a few of the have been actually included in jwe2, all improvements as a whole in JWE2 don't trigger that at all, and i find myself "getting into" building jurassic park just like the original jpog. The whole package works, very, very happy. Cant stop playing, bought the game on steam.

Given their support of elite, i don't assume that frontier care at all, but "i feel like" saying that there might be a huge market of people who were very disappointed with the original, and never tried jwe2 because of it... maybe some sort of incentive for owners of the original to try the new game might do wonders. The difference is so great it feels like a shame for let down jpog people to might miss out on the sequel because of frontiers usual skeleton tool approach used for JWE1. Almost happened to me. :)

Personally so far i still need guests to be on par with jpog or planet zoo. Happy to pay for it as an expansion, please don't make me wait a few years for another sequel.

What do you mean "guests to be on par with jpog"?

Despite Jurassic World: Evolution 2 have numerous improvements over Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis, I still find the dinosaur cohabitation element in Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis better than Jurassic World: Evolution 2.

To be able to to click on them to see what they're doing and what they need, just to roleplay they're actual people, not just an animation facade for a game simulation.

But i did just notice something.. 2, they seem to avoid utility buildings now, sticking to paths with attractions and amenities.. and those paths wonderfully don't seem to count for the heat map needs. Also it started raining, and they took out umbrellas, so that's another item checked off the list.

They still need to interact with shops better, i think they do enough in planet games. That and using the decorations would be enough. Also of course reacting to the day night cycle, but that's just a 2023 expectation.

Normally in Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis, the guest limit is 100. If modded in the P.C. version, the guest limit can be 200.

In Jurassic World: Evolution 1 & 2, there is just too many guests as they amount to thousands.

What do you say to the attraction scoring system?

The thrills score not just from the land carnivores hunting, but also from marine reptiles hunting fish.

The fun score is from the herbivores grazing and socializing.

The authenticity is on how the dinosaurs are being placed together. If Therizinosaurus is placed with scavengers, the authenticity score will be low.

Yes, its not very good. Its not good in their other games either.. i guess some senior programmer decided to make a swarming / flocking algorithm and was allowed to leave it in the game instead of making it realistic.

Is there one? I haven't seen it yet. Yes in jpog it was simple and understandable. Thinking about it now, isn't it instead done by the dinosaurs in the cohabitation mechanic? Maybe its just part of the legacy choice to make jwe about the dinosaurs instead of the guests? This was the main collapse of the first game imo, without all the other stuff being more developed.

It is doubtful that there will be those guest types in Jurassic World: Evolution 2: thrill seekers, fun lovers, and dino nerds.

In Jurassic World: Evolution 2; the guest types are general, nature, adventure, and luxury. What they cater are not in the attraction's quality, but on the type. For example, adventure guests cater to lagoon viewing attractions and tour rides.

Without the authenticity scoring system, players are abusing Henry Wu's words "Nothing in Jurassic World is natural" as in to place the herbivores in whatever way they wish. It is not just the players, there is a possibility that the developers are abusing those words too.

Right, fair enough. I think what bothers me more is they are anonymous ants, not guests, in both games. The gameplay can be whatever they choose.

Honestly, even though Jurassic World: Evolution 2 is dinosaur-centric like Jurassic World: Evolution 1; the dinosaur cohabitation element needs work.

We have to respect Frontier's wishes to portray the Therizinosaurus as hateful as the one in Jurassic World: Dominion. However, the Therizinosaurus cannot be used in the Challenge Mode gameplay.

In Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis, Acrocanthosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus can cohabit. Do you want the same for Jurassic World: Evolution 2?

With Majungasaurus and Carnotaurus liking each other due to being abelisaurs; what do you say to making Qianzhousaurus and Albertosaurus liking each other due to both being Late Cretaceous tyrannosaurs?

Due to the faulty dinosaur cohabitation element, the official Germany challenge mode in Jurassic difficulty is not playable.

You make fair points, why not make a suggestion? It is frontier though, they're not like other game developers (even though they may claim to be). As far as support goes, JWE has the advantage as it seems to earn the most money for frontier, so they may get allocated scope to do more, then you need to pray that the designers look at the problem the same way as you do.

I hate to break this out to you: herbivores being able to feed on paleo-plants is a major improvement Jurassic World: Evolution 2 has over Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis and Jurassic World: Evolution 1. However, the herbivores' dislike relationships based on paleo-plants spoil the improvement and even impacting the game's playability.

Just so you know, putting pachycephalosaurs with stegosaurs only reduce authenticity points.

In Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis, Kentrosaurus and Stegosaurus like each other. In Jurassic World: Evolution 2, Kentrosaurus and Stegosaurus disliking each other contribute to making the exhibit authentic. Keeping these two species separated boost authenticity scoring.

I doubt Frontier would listen to one voice, we need more than one person sharing the same issue.

Just saying i'm still hooked on JWE2.

Frontier really should try again with the people who were disappointed with JWE1 who probably would love the sequel, but haven't/wont give frontier a second chance.

I'm finally getting the game i wanted for the original title... Looking forward to getting the dlc's in the future as time opportunity permits.
