I'm back! And I have questions...

First up, hey guys! Sorry I've been away so long. I took an extended break from the game dealing with some personal stuff.

So I got back on last night to see what PP is like.
Seems pretty good in the long run but I have some slight confusion.

After a brief faff trying to remember all the controls and how not to plant my Clipper into the station walls I aligned myself with one of the Empire factions. All good.

I notice that theres a tab that says something like Turmoil. And we're losing CC whatever that is. Ok. Is there something I am supposed to do in those systems?

Anyway, I went to the Expansion tab and selected a system to go help expand. I flew over and stopped inthe Crime Spree instance and killed a load of Lawless ships. All cool. I rhen headed bak tothe starport but was confuse to find I can find where I get paid for all the ships I destroyed.
Where do I go to get my money for this?

And i also noticed something about ranks or something when you help a faction out. Where is your rank shown?

Gosh it feels like being a newbie all over again in this game! Lol! Lots seem to have changed.

Hi.

You Can find lots of info in the 'powers' tab which you can find at the bottom left of your nav menu in left hand screen in cockpit.

You can see your own and other factions and get info on which systems are in preparation, expansion or fortification states plus info on what to do to assist with each of these states.

To cash in the merits you need to return to your faction's home system or one of its control systems, again found in the above screens. Once there go to contacts in spaceport services and then to power contact which will have a little yellow marker next to it.

You can also view other factions and see which of their systems are fortifying etc and get info on how to disrupt their efforts for bigger merit payouts.

Ahh so i guess since the system i am in is under expansion that would be why i couldnt cash in. Makes sense! Ta!
