Horizons I'm burning up here

Just got a new mission to Wu Kong.
Arrived between twin suns.
can't escape because message says "Align with escape vector"
There is no escape vector.

I have turned an spun and looked everywhere, but the vector does not appear and no target on radar.
Please hurry. I'm burning up and can't escape. The game wont let me supercruise.


probably have tp blow up and lose some ( a lot) of credits.

You get that message even when jumping to a different system?

If it is 'Escape Vector' that means you are too close to a planet or sun, which OP clearly is

I have not seen this before. You could try targeting a different system, it should then appear on radar. Of course it will not let you jump if that system is behind one of the suns so your options may be limited. Might be worth opening a ticket and waiting for a response from FD before logging back in.

Yes, but it also said FDrive malfunction.

But it doesn't matter. I re-entered the game and this time the escape vector was on the radar. And     it was superimposed over one of the stars. Barely visible.
Maybe I did something wrong the first escape attempt.
Also, when I re-entered the ship was not burning up and sparking, so I had a while to sort the problem. (The ship was back to 54 degrees as well.)
